We did another check of our hive with the intention of removing crazy comb.  Some of the things we noticed from this check. We had quite a few drone bees we havent noticed them before.  We also have lots more bees in general which explains why they have been using up the sugar-water so much faster.  Our queen was in the upper box laying larvae. We still have 3 frames on the bottom box that have yet to be worked though.

So far Stacie and I are loving bees and want more hives.  This has been a great experience and very educational.  We have both learned so much we didn’t know about bees. Neither of us has been stung so far and it’s just amazing to be able to get this close with them and watch them work.

We are looking for classes we can take or local meetings we can attend to further our knowledge on our way to becoming beeks. (Bee Geeks)
